Whilst reading Christine Parfitt’s great blog over at Semfire I spotted a link to Search Marketing Standard which is a great resource for SEM tips and news.  They also provide a print version which I have ordered.  I will update you on my views of the printed magazine when I have read it.

Google AdWords For Beginners Part 1.

The internet has grown to be a huge collection of interlinked web pages containing information about every conceivable topic.  In fact recent estimates put the number of pages at approximately 30 billion, that’s 30,000,000,000 web pages!

Inaugural Post

Well here you are… somehow you found my new blog.

So what’s it all about?

Over the coming months (and years) I am planning to build a blog about the broad subject of Internet Marketing with a heavy focus on Paid Search a.k.a Pay Per Click (PPC) marketing.

Why am I doing this?

Everything about the internet intrigues me but search really gets me going.  The fact that search allows us to tap into peoples most intimate desires is amazing and offers fantastic opportunity in the world of ecommerce.

This blog is about sharing my knowledge and expertise with the PPC community and at the same time expanding my own knowledge and experience.

Who am I?

My name is Richard Steven and I have been working in the Information Technology industry for about 7 years.  For the last 4 years I have been learning the skills required to build and maintain profitable AdWords campaigns and now I have founded Reverse Broadcast to offer Google AdWords management to small and medium businesses.
